MIO’s Advisory team is seeking a highly motivated Team Assistant to share in providing administrative support to our cohort of investment advisory professionals based in the U.S. This is a full-time opportunity located in MIO’s office in Atlanta, GA. COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for this position (subject to accommodation for health and religious reasons).

We are offering a challenging position with potential development opportunities beyond the traditional assistant role for a motivated candidate interested in Assistant support, Client Service, and the financial industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide high level calendar and time management for the Advisory team, take complete ownership of managing and prioritizing incoming scheduling requests, make confident decisions and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements
  • Act as Office Manager for the Atlanta co-working office space and interact with internal and external clients to ensure a professional and responsive support experience
  • Act as a trusted partner and handle sensitive investor information and communications with the utmost confidentiality
  • Develop trustworthy relationships with the Advisory team and liaise between other MIO departments
  • Develop great working relationships with client assistants
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for the team
  • Assist the affiliated Client Service team with investor-related tasks or investment administration as capacity allows

Desired Background

  • Undergraduate degree
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience is required, ideally in an Executive Assistant role
  • Background or interest in working on a small team and in investment/client service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, planning abilities and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and accustomed to multitasking in a readily changing environment while being sensitive to time constraints
  • Very strong computer skills, particularly working with Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and Microsoft Office Suite
